I am compelled to comment on the new forum format and congratulate the owners on a fantastic job.
I am a little nonplussed about the significance of the myriad of posts clogging the forum containing nothing more than fields (and repeats of fields) for upcoming races.
Could someone enlighten me as to what I am missing out on here by not paying them any attention.
Maybe if they are as important as they seem to be, judging by the number of visits, a separate forum could be provided so that interesting discussion items are not quickly pushed into oblivion.

But can I say your posts are frank and very real.
You're now on my buddy list.
I agree with the fields situation,and made a comment about it,but was practically laughed off the forum for my input.
It seems the only real way to please everybody is to praise.
If you feel like criticizing someone or something,it is preferable on this forum not to post at all.
Which is now my preferred option of commenting.

There seems to be a clique on this forum who respond to each other's posts and ignore the rest.

Totally agree with what you are both saying.And as for the new format,I just had to log in again and was welcomed back,the message saying my last post was in January 1970!!!!!

Please forgive the joining date of January 1970 as it was a glitch that occured during the upgrade process.

The joining date poses no real significance but I will most likely change it to something closer to our present year.

I'll have a chat with the OZmium Management and see if they'd consider having another forum created for the posting of fields of races.
