Default Sandown tip for today

R5 #2 VALASHKA
Had 2 runs back from a spell.
Won 4 races last time in including 2 this track around this distance.
I presume it has the class to win.
Won C6 last time in with 55kg and followed up with a win in R1MWLY with 52kg after the claim for B Shinn.

Agree a strong chance Imagele.
Interesting you mentioned Blake Shinn. He’s on the horse I like – Iona Avenue.
3 starts since spell should be nearing necessary fitness level, nice draw, C6 country winner, tidy effort 2 starts back this course over 1400, extra distance should suit and as mentioned Blake Shinn on board. Perhaps we can quinella.

This must be the Blake Shinn fan club.
I reckon Pardees in race 3 (#2) will blitz them. My BIG spesh.

Appreciate your comments Shoe.
Analysis of tips and the race itself including other chances BEFORE the event is most welcome and might create some added interest.
Who knows, with enough alternate ideas we might come up with a 5 box trifecta or something.
My only doubt with Iona Avenue is that it might prefer the sting out of the ground.
My nagging doubt with Valashka is the 58kg. 3kg more than it has carried to victory before.

Iv'e been following the McEvoy trained Fuchsia Lady (9). Last two starts have both brought tough grinding wins. The extra hundred will suit and only has the 52 and drawn well. Might lack the class of the top 2, but is on the up and has a good chance.

My best tip for the day comes in the last. All Elegance(4) found all the trouble it could last start, would have finished much closer. It was only just behind early fav Shove Over(9) last run, with Oliver on board it can win this, at each-way odds, doubt i'll get the $13 quoted here though.

Default My thoughts

Imagele,

Looks like a tough race. I have them rated as follows:

1. $3.5
9. $3.9
2. $5.0
5. $8.5
13. $10

I'd think you'll pick up a nice each way price about yours.

Good luck,

F

Rudolph
I reckon D Oliver and All Elegance might add up to about $4-50 come race time.

Well done Chuck.
Can't come at 'em at 5'4 me'self. Anything under $4-00 is taboo.
Looks like Valashka is heading that way at the moment.
