Default Rating the Slipper lead-ups

Here are my rating figures for the major Slipper lead-ups so far:

Silver Slipper: Domesday 65kg
Kindergarten: Flying Pegasus 64.5kg
Black Opal: Al Samer 63kg
Blue Diamond: Undoubtedly 68kg
Skyline: Snitzel 65.5kg
Sweet Embrace: Carry On Cutie 60.5kg
Todman: Written Tycoon 67kg
Reisling: Fashions Afield 61kg
Pago Pago: Stratum 65kg
Magic Night: Media 61.5kg

I seem to be rating the Todman 3 or 4 kg above what others think. My Reisling rating is lower than others as well, but i have double checked them and consider them as accurate as i can get.

To my eye, the Reisling had no depth to it whatsoever; there were 3 class standouts. Two of them cleaned each other up (Mnemosyne + Queen of the Hill) at the top of the straight which basicly handed the race on a platter for Fashions Afield against the remaining mediocre bunch. Mnemosyne's run was fantastic as the check she copped from Queen was quite severe.

Undoubtedly did a huge peak performance in the Blue Diamond so I doubt he can reproduce it in the Slipper. He's already won his grand final. I'm leaning to the Todman as the best guide to this years Slipper.

Anyone else wanna shed some light on how they rate this years 2yo's ?

I have Snitzel on top.
Written Tycoon just behind..
all the rest very similar except i rated Media alittle higher..i thought her run was fantastic ..and times not to bad..and has scope for improvement .
Still watching the videos ..
But written tycoon run was huge..and its unlike Begg to be so confident.

Brave chief, I have to agree with you there, Mnemosyne's run was super taking into consideration the check. After i saw it, i though she would just fade away but she just kept battling on. Shes drawn well and can kick on after the early pace in the race has been set.
