I see that our forum hosts have gone to town in "Punt to Win" on a race caller who recently refused to call Jeune's mark a donkey even when well beaten. See the article for yourself.
Heard the call myself and couldn't help thinking that the caller must have had a bob or two on that particular runner. It's quite a past time of mine trying to figure out which horse the commentator has backed. Often you will hear them concentrating on the chances of something running 12th of fourteen, 8 lengths off the lead with 300 to go. Listen out for yourself, you might hear what I mean.
My point is, I agree with "punt to win", listen to the racecaller for the result, not a recommendation.
Good luck
