Just thought other sports gamblers out there might like to know that Tiger is in serious doubt for the tournament starting tonight(our time). He has a back problem and finding swinging restrictive. He is$5-6 fav in most markets and hasnt won a strokeplay tournament all year so is probly a good lay. Ive backed Retief Goosen each way at $15.

On the subject of Tiger Woods

On a golf tour in Ireland, Tiger Woods drives his BMW into a petrol station in a remote part of the Irish countryside.

Paddy at the pump greets him in a typical Irish manner completely unaware of who the golfing pro is.

"Top of the mornin' to yer, sir!" says Paddy.

Tiger nods a quick "hello" and bends forward to pick up the nozzle.

As he does so, two tees fall out of his shirt pocket onto the ground.

"What are dey den, son?" asks Paddy.

"They're called tees" replies Tiger.

"Well, what on de good earth are dey for?" inquires Paddy.

"They're for resting my balls on when I'm driving" , says Tiger.

"Well I'll be!!" says Paddy.

"Dem boys at BMW tink of everything!"
