Default Chrome Multiball - multiple acceptors.

No I don't have more than the usual allocation
I thought it a catchy topic for the multiple nominations topic.

A while ago on the forum, it was discussed re horse's being nominated for multiple races or venues.

There are two reasons that I can think of....

1. The trainer knows the horse is at peak and wants to cash in!

2. The trainer doesn't want to break the horse's preparation and wants it to run, but it won't necessarily perform today.

How do we know the difference?

Well we don't, unless we have inside info, so the best guideline is the market really (although we'll miss a few longshots).

Done some research on this and only have a little data thus far, but it's looking very promising.

Multiple acceptors 1/1/2005 to 30/4/2005

75 individual horses

If we take out anything above $10.00 TAB price, we are left with these amazing stats....

31 horses that aren't longshots
only 8 winners for a return of $31.20 (around breakeven)

24 placegetters for a return of $38.40 or 7 units profit.

Admittedly too small a sample, but the trend is way higher than normal.

77% place strike rate
23.87% POT

Food for thought.

Kenchar, where are you buddy?

Hi CP,
I will definately look at it for extra dollars.
I did a previous post to you just before this one giving my averages but I deleted it,
I just couldn't be bothered with all the knockers and flack I would get.

Cheers and keep up the good work.

Know how you feel.

I give up with that other fu**en knowall clown.
I'm taking some advice that I was given years ago, "never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level & then beat you with experience".

Night chaps.

Don't worry about the naysayers, the last laugh is done by the successful.

Kenchar,

Many of my friends have been inside, and I don't judge them, only our judicial and government systems, for they are the ones who are the criminals.

We live in a society...

Where it's o.k. to break one's promises to the voters, but illegal to break one's promises under a contract.

A man can be jailed for selling a car under finance, but a whole industry is endorsed where one can sell a house under finance (even if you pay the money direct to the car company).

A man can be jailed for insider trading for a gain of $3,000, and these adjudicators are on the phone to their brokers the next day asking for an inside tip, where do you suppose a broker gets his information from....word of mouth, mates, parties...the kind of stuff not generally known by the public.

Where debts are onsold to a third party, thereby giving sensitive private information to someone you didn't authorize, and have them harass you day and night - but wasn't the signed contract between 2 parties?

Where a police officer can lie and ********** on his wife, but treat you like ******** for bouncing a cheque, because you're broke.

Where the court system assumes guilt, the person has to prove his/her innocence. Hang on, wasn't it meant to be the other way around?

Sorry, was off topic, but I hate it when people judge others and their own morals leave a lot to be desired.

Back to my balls of steel....

1/1/2004 to 30/4/2005

Dual Acceptors
82 started at less than $6.00, for a place profit of 9.7 units

56 out of 82 ran a place
68.29%

Admittedly not that good, but a good starting point and these nags have no other filters applied aside from price!

Thanks CP, rest in peace Rene Rivkin, hounded by the powers to be that hate the HI Flyers because they can't make it themselves.
I love the guy for his motto in life.
" It doesn't matter how you make your money as long as you don't hurt anyone else ".
AND I DON"T THINK HIS MOTTO APPLIED TO BANKS.

Yet to be proven, and the mans wealth was never considered against what was to gain.
Multi millions on the line to make $3,000, I wouldn't think so.

iamcool,

I was lucky enough to be an acquaintance of the man, he was really quite brilliant, and by no means a criminal. I was lucky enough to hear him give a speech in his last Melbourne visit and he often kept in contact with me.

R.I.P. Rene.

Thumbs down

You're right Chrome Prince,

Of all the things that people do to one another and all the ************ knocking about you would think the powers that be would have better things to do with their time and taxpayers money. I too was a fan and subscribed to his newsletter for the "good oil" as they say and am fully aware the man was no danger to society. Alas this is the world in which we live and i'm sure that some a-hole furthered his own pathetic career by prosecuting the man.

Apoligies for any offence caused - i have deleted it

Shouldn't have posted that message in this forum - will re-post in correct forum re: Adelaide Cup
