Mr Sandgroper,

I have come up with Prince of Pop also.

But worried about it being a 8 year old.

Should i be.

Only a place better. But it is the 5th leg in
a 5 leg all up over the last few weeks. So it is quite important to me.

Hi trench digger, Prince Of Pop is racing in fine form. I rated his last run as only one length below his personal best. Not bad for an 8YO. Only potential problem - the track has been rated slow, anymore rain & it could get worse. For what it is worth, horses sired by Raveneaux (POP's sire) have a slow / heavy winning strike rate (courtesy Racenet) of 16.1%.

Mr Sandgroper,

Thank you for your reply.

I will keep my eye on the weather over in the west.

I've only just got up and the last in Perth is almost past my bed time so i have lots of time to decide which way to go.

My concern is how long can a 8 Y O hold winning form?

All selections starting. Currently a slow track - caveat emptor.

Of the selections, these have some wet track form - Rescuer (R1N1), Opal Bridge (R2N8), Lady Knockout (R3N5)& Konjo (R5N6). The rest are untried.
