Default Results

If i wanted to get every result from all horse races updated quickly where might be the best place to go, Tabs only provide details of races they cover, Betfair site is ************ slow.

Betfair is updated within a 10-20 seconds after the race. Not sure I would call that slow.

I agree with you Shaun, as I sit there waiting, and it's always a few minutes 3 - 5. You usually know the winner at least, by watching the Inplay prices, but never know if it's a photo, so wait for final confirmation. Racing Post can take around 10 mins. It might be different for UB, as he accesses the api directly, but for the rest of us.....??

If you find a way to get results into excel, I'd be interested, as I have to do that manually.

I am pretty sure the API doesn't supply results, i use BA and can't get results from that, i need to scrape a page, currently get them from Unitab so i am ok with anything they cover but would like to try some UK and other overseas markets.

Betfair do provide results to the level of WINNER/LOSER/SCRATCHED.

So if your looking for just who won a race then just get the runner status. For placing you will find 2 or 3 horses as WINNER. Any which lost will have the word LOSER.

Now if you want who ran first, second, third, fourth,, fifth, etc then no they do not provide that.
