Hi X ..just wondering how your ratings are stacking up lately..
The rain has played havoc with my selections...its been real hard work,
had 3 bets since saturday...starting to go crazy..
My bookers Merry Peirce, Lord Laurinston and Fun at last did well today..so feeling confident again..
...i notice you got the 1st 4 in your 5 selections in fun at lasts race..well done..

Have some bookers running tomorrow..
Gold Tusmani Townsville r8
Brakenette Ballarat r9
Solomon's Seal wyong r4

always interested in how they rate ..so i'll hopefully check your thursday selections tomorrow morning...

Gday mav...

the rain has been playing havoc with my ratings... knocking the strike rate around something terrible... BUT it is winter and that is not unusual.. it is a hard time of the year to make a quid in my opinion, but I will keep on trying.. when we start getting some dryer tracks things should start to look up again.. This time of year is the time to play with your ratings formula (IMO) as you can sometimes stumble onto something that works...

Default D Peisley

Hi Maverick. D Peisley is one of the few country apprentices that I trust. I thought he was based in the northern rivers. Yesterday, he appears in Townsville. I figured he must be up there for a reason, so I looked at all his rides and luckily I found one of the gems (Canadian Bunny) in race 7.
Being a Queensland boy, can you give me the heads up on why he would have been in Townsville yesterday?

Also, DA Evans is one of my knockout jockeys.....especially in Mackay. I remember watching in awe earlier this year as he nailed 5 in a row at Mackay....4 of them were at double figure odds. Has he gone off the boil lately, or is it the rides he is getting?

I was getting hammered everwhere yesterday, except for Townsviile and Northam. I had a particularly freakish run at Northam.

Get this for bizarre.

Race 1. 1st/ # 14
Race 2. 1st / # 5
Race 3. 2nd / # 7 (just missed )
Race 4. 1st / #2
Race 5. Blot (this should have been easy)
Race 6. 2nd on # 12 (by a short margin)
Race 7. 1st/# 14 (I cannot believe Ultegra paid more than 20/1)
Race 8. 1st/ #5

The average of the winners paid more than 20/1.

So many first uppers, so many badly drawn favourites.

I sure as helll hope I can repeat this effort some day!
