Eagle farm Wednesday
Hey guys..i dont usually post this thread during the week but its a good card tomorrow ..some hard races and there could be some value to be had..
Race 1. Sircolo has been knocking on the door..great run last start ..when he chased Front door home only 1/2 a length off the Princess before that....has a good barrier and Jockey and shouldnt be to far back,,i think with the rail out 5m ..you'd want to be handy early in the day..Racetrack is the intersting runner but prepared to watch first up.. Race 2. Vitruvian looks the class here..might be to short for me..you'd think with the claim looks to good for these.. Race 3. Throw a dart here...was on Vetories Image last start but has a bad barrier here..Sigrun flew home last start but the barrier again is the worry.. if i have to have a go and the odds are real good..i'd look at October Grey who ran a good race last start ..is well bred and a good jockey .. go wide with the other 2 mentioned and follow the market, Race 4. Mitanni should win this...beamer might hassle him but looks to good here . if i get a price i'll be on.. Race 5. Thought Rock Cafe could dictate again here...maybe Bavosa or ears to victory will go forward but Rock Cafe should lead anyway...will be hard to catch again... by this time of the day you'll know if there is a bias ...if the backmarkers are making ground .Abu Simbel , Arts Success and Swap are all good chances.. but i think Rock Cafe will be very hard to catch here.. Race 6. Heaps of speed here..Lillabiddy flys and so does High Heel shooter especially with the weight.. I thought High heel shooter with the weight pull might be to quick for lillabidy,,,if they go to hard Prang could come over the top but i'd rather of seen him in a 1350 race.. Race 7. Countess Bathory with the claim..great barrier ...but will be no value.. loved Pagers run last start ..up in class but maybe a good e/w if the backmarkers are in it.. Race 8. High Octave here..gets all the ticks....your lion eyes ran a huge race last start and might be worth including in the multis.. Good luck....not my usual study load for this meeet but still confident after a good day today.. |

Some other selections..
Adelaide. *Pray in Silence..won so very easily last start..looks real smart . *Lady Chorister..just off Pipkin last start..real good form for this. *Haphazard...fought on well last start...easier race this..claim helps *Queen Catherine e/w ,,has ability..lecky to ride ..fitter now,,will be prominent Warrick Farm. *No Name For a Lady..heaps of smart ones here but this one ran a huge race last start and the extra 200m will suit..... worth a e/w *Coolroom Candidate..fitter now,, should be ready here.. *Seaforth...flew home last start after being held up....im a Johan's Toy fan but think Seaforth will have that fitness edge... Belmont. * Grand Merlot..way up in class but i owe it to him to stick with him...maybe has got that winning feeling ..and will have improved anyway.. *Polish Prince...honest as they come,,,good last couple of runs.. Hey Mav,
Will be a huge day at Eagle Farm tomorrow, looking forward to it Race 1 - Few chances in the first, but i like Scottish Reaver. Can run good times when he wants to and can also run on pace. Only issue might be that he doesn't seem to run his best at Eagle Farm. Interstorm has been running in stronger races than this and can figure with a good tempo. Best of the rest maybe Racetrack. Race 2 - Will be an ordinary betting race with the toppy taking most of the market. I'm never convinced with a3 jockeys on short priced favs, but Vitruvian won well last time, and more importantly...the time was quick. Mighty Victory has attracted some betting attention in a couple of his starts, and might improve here if allowed to dictate out in front. I have a serious doubt above the form out of that Matinee race, blanket finishes are impossible to work out... Race 3 - October Grey has a distinct advantage over many of the field here, a good barrier coupled with a good performance last time. Scared is in a similar position and can figure also. Alvaldi bears watching first time at the races with Stewart booked. Luck in running will play a massive part here with the big field...maidens are not my cup of tea though Race 4 - Mitanni is close to a special here. If he can return to anywhere near his best, he should just be too good. He can be somewhat unreliable at times, but when left alone in front (and when he doesnt bolt on the rider), he runs well. Twanged ran nice time last time, i've just got a doubt on whether he'll be able to replicate that run...Maybe Astroflash for a placing, with the quality country trainer who knows when to bring them to town... Race 5 - Bit of speed here, which won't help Rock Cafe. I like Perette, who was seen getting to the line nicely in the Rock Cafe race. With the speed on, and the long Eagle Farm straight, i think she can go close here. Art Success did well to win the other day, time wasn't flash though. And maybe Gold Victory a chance at odds, barrier is a nightmare though... Race 6 - Again, i can see a lot of speed here, which won't help some of the favoured runners. For that reason, I like Palatine. 2 runs back from a spell have been good, and the drop in class from the last run suits big time. Agree that Prang is a good chance on the last win. Naturally Lillabiddy has to be given a chance, but the times she has run at the Coast haven't been anything to write home about... Race 7 - I hate myself for doing it, but i like Countess Bathory here. I just can't see much opposition...especially with the weight relief she gets. I know that she is up a little bit in class but the 1 barrier and her overall consistency just leads me to think she will be right there again...Distinct lack of speed might help Umaprince (if he ever starts?!), they might press forward on Pager also - which will help his chances. Race 8 - Nightmare race to finish on. Cocktail Shaker a nice chance after 2 unlucky runs. Go Riding has put in a couple of reasonable runs its last 2 and can go close here. I'm prepared to risk I'm French (which i think will be unders), just think the horse has been hyped a little much for what hes done. Having said that, i'm assuming he'll be single figure odds? Best is Mitanni with a nice rough chance to Gold Victory if he can get in from the alley. Oh well, good luck with your bets tomorrow everyone, Sven |

WOW!!! What an amazing dividend for Art Success! I didn't post it amongst my tips today, but it was just too good to refuse at that price. I had it rated equal with Rock Cafe. Thought it wouldn't be more than $5!!!

If Delicata remains at huge odds in Race 6, it might be worth perhaps a small each way bet. 2, 5, 9 & 10 probably the ones to beat though.
