Thumbs up brads tips Saturday 3rd september

Domesday - RANDWICK on Saturday, 3 September 2005
ROMAN CONSUL STAKES, 1200 - 13:30
Comment by Denis Simpson
Smart 3YO in Hawkes yard. Trialled well for return and put in an eye-catching run first-up. Big Spring expected..

Danni Martine - RANDWICK on Saturday, 3 September 2005
TRAMWAY HANDICAP, 1400 - 13:30
Comment by Clinton Payne
A real class act this mare. Was always going to find it hard to win first-up when they walked up front. Obviously better suited with the speed on. Confident we will get that money back and some! A genuine chance in a race like the Epsom I'd suggest. .

Sir Dex - RANDWICK on Saturday, 3 September 2005
CHELMSFORD STAKES, 1600 - 13:30
Comment by Clinton Payne
Well and truely on a Cups campaign after winning the Warwick Stakes Randwick Aug 20 at $27.20 & $4.20. If he can have an incident free preparation he will make his presence felt around October and November.

LORD BRAEMAR - MORPHETTVILLE on Saturday, 3 September 2005
BAKER YOUNG STOCKBROKERS HCP (REGISTERED AS, 1100 - 13:30
Comment by Mal James (SA)
Has his hoof on the till. A win not far away..

MANTON - RANDWICK on Saturday, 3 September 2005
MAYTAG MING DYNASTY QUALITY HANDICAP, 1400 - 13:30
Comment by Clinton Payne
Impeccably bred John Hawkes 3YO who looked good winning at WFarm Aug 17 at only his second start. Expect him to make his presence felt during the spring. Serious race horse..

SIR DEX got me last time when I backed a fast closing DIZELLE. He won't get me again. I can't see why he won't close just as fast as DIZELLE and at the proper time to get to the wire first, although we won't get those odds again. NEVIS + BATTLE MAIDEN scare me a bit as well, along with MAHTOUM and ECOSUL. If the track is favoring speed at all, I think I'll be backing NEVIS for sure as hell be all alone on the front. Otherwise, SIR DEX + DIZELLE/ 1,5,9,12.

What a great day of racing at Rand and Flem!

thank god far that

But if anyone does read this I think Dizelle is a certainty .nothing will beat the mare..shes way way to good for any of the run down old donkeys in this race.. Go Dizzele

seriously if Lenny wasnt riding Mahtoum i'd be more confident..but still worth putting in the multis ..looks good in trialls and races well 2nd up..

i'm not going to get beat by that Sir Dex again. He looked strong in his last and may be a better horse as a 5yo. No excuse for Dizelle last time except she was dragging me down the lane with her! LOL! Am I crazy for thinking Sir Dex can beat these type again?
