![]() Let's spare a thought for those who are in the path of Hurricane Rita.
Just read on CNN that Rita has been classified as a Category 5 hurricane (worst) with winds reaching up to 280kpm! They're saying this is the 3rd most intense storm in their recorded history. This on the back of suffering their biggest natural disaster in US history with the hit from Hurricane Katrina last month, which inflicted over 1,000 deaths and estimated over US$200 billion damage. I feel sorry for those who were finally evacuated from New Orleans, only to be moved to Texas, where Rita is expected to make landfall. At least every seems much better prepared this time 'round, calling for early evacuations and mobilizing food, water and medical supplies.

![]() Yes,poor beggars.
Every thing should be OK though, as I heard the fearless leader of their country say that he would "Hope and pray " that it didn't hit. Pathetic really.

![]() Thanks.
Fortunately for my family and myself, we are 500 miles, (833 Km) from the Texas coast. Regards, Glenn
