Default THE BREEDER"S CUP WORLD THOROUGHBRED CHAMPIONSHIPS

Firstly, it's a shame that the purses for these races aren't about 5 times higher in order to get the best of the best to dedicate to these races. Secondly, to make it fair, the races should be run globally, and no Canada(Woodbine) doesn't count. Of course that would play havoc on the dirt races, but something could be done for sure. This would make horse racing a more global sport and give more recognition to "foreign" horses from wherever. The rules could be set accordingly as each country saw fit (i.e. Lasix or not). I get tired of seeing the prep races mean more than some of the BC races in terms of prepping a horse for.

Other than those complaints, I can't f'in wait til next sat at Belmont! The Breeder's Cup rules! Talk about lump in your throat racing. This is the Super Bowl, World Series, and even AUS footy grand final wrapped in one! I can't add Cricket to that analogy, sorry. LOL!

Sidenote: That damn RISKAVERSE won the FLOWER BOWL G1 at Belmont a couple weeks ago to pay $79 to win and I din't play the race. This after backing her against ALINGHI in the Ballston Spa. The grand old mare of the Belmont Turf might actually have a shot in this her record 4th straight appearance in the F+M Turf.

www.drf.com follows it quite closely.

Avenger is right. DRF.COM is the best site for all american horse racing. Here are a couple of others that will come in handy.... www.nyra.com (go to Belmont link if you have to) and www.brisnet.com (will probably have some insightful looks at all the races later in the week). i'm going to look at the European sites later and if I find anything good I'll let ya know.
