Default Some HK thoughts for today.

Just had a look at today's card at HK. Thought i'd start a thread and get some chatter going.

Havin' a look at some of these chaff bandits. Small wagers on most of these, for fun really. E/W would be the way to go.

OR2 Don Felipe. Good jock, good draw and has been knocking on the door in reent times.
OR5 Cape of good hope. What do you say, real good chaff bandit this one. Great jock on board. Mick Kinane has been real good to me over the years. Running into a bit of form as well i see.
OR7 Bullish Luck. Oozes class, reminded of his great victory over Silent Witness a while back. Had two runs back from a spell, needed them too. Me thinks he'll be cherry ripe for todays run. Will be on BIG here.
OR8 Vengance of Rain. Not entirely convinced by his last run. Was a short priced fav and struggled to the line. He won, but wasn't convincing. Perhaps that was just one of those off days. I hope so but to be sure i'll be on 1*3 or something like that. He'll figure in the finish.

Sorry had to post that as HK is about to jump. Turns out it didn't matter. Some of those amateur jocks up in HK have been causing a lotta trouble recently, Lunatics!

Couple of other Nags that look promising but not too sure about:

OR3 Best Gift
OR3 Ouija Board???? Is this the same Nag that ran in the Japan Cup?
OR4 Hail the Storm with Whyte on board would have to be the obvious selection. Pretty Trio??? I always like improvers, back from a spell. Don't know much about this Nag so might be a watch and see kinda' situation.
OR6 Again Thistle King would be obvious. Improvers = Good Ba Ba and Sunrise Rainbow.
OR9 Fifty Fifty with Beadman on board. Gotta be worth a small go for fun.

Anyways just a few thought to play with. Hope some of these do the right thing for me. Who knows, confident of Bullish Luck though if nothing else.

Hmmm. I simply backed my two top picks Hail The Storm and Flaming Lamborghini. I should have noticed your comment about Pretty Trio, and perhaps taken a trifecta.

Yes, Mad, Ouija Board came fifth in the Japan Cup. I backed for a place today --- didn't realise this thread had been started. Good luck with the others.

Didn't like the way that Bullish Luck hit the line last start Mad to be honest and I have always been a big fan of the horse couldn't see anyway that he could beat Dave's Best on there last runs.

It's funny Raw, i saw it the other way around. Thinking he would have been better for the run. I was confident of a win today and went after him in a big way. That in itself should have set off the warning bells, LOL. Anyway what's done is done and we'll have to get 'em all again tommorrow.
Best of luck.
