Default Days since doggy last ran

I've been watching this number for the last couple of meetings I've bet. Cursory examination seems to show those in the win & place are mostly around 5-7 days, with those that last ran 3 or 4 days ago just not saluting the judge.

Has anybody ever considered this; or better yet, done in-depth analysis on a greater sample than my measly 20 races.

I tried searching the forum, but "since last ran" is either too common or too short.

Default Bendigo R7,8, 9

A look at Bendigo today a 700, 430 and a 430 metre race puts some doubt on this theory;

R7 - 8 (LTO - 28/1) 3 (LTO - 28/1) 6 (LTO - 30/1)

R8 - 1 (LTO - 19/1) 8 (LTO - 28/1) 6 (LTO - 28/1)

R9 - 1 (LTO - 27/1) 2 (LTO - 27/1) 7 (LTO - 27/1)
