I wonder how careful we should be this weekend?
They raced at Sandown Wednesday with the rail out 9 metres. It was a roaring swoopers' track. They're racing again there Saturday with the rail out 12 metres and at present a few big fields. Also Flemington Sunday the rail is out 13. I also see the rail is out 10m at Morphettville. Won't horses be off the track rounding the home turn? Even at Randwick the rail has been put out 91/2 metres. What do you make of all this? [ This Message was edited by: The Catparrot on 2002-08-08 20:06 ] |

Sounds like a good weekend to spend with the family, or go fishing, do the gardening, go to the movies or whatever you enjoy doing in your spare time when not watching the races! Of course if you like watching the horses you can go to the track - should get a nice close-up view as they will be practically racing in the stands!
