A number of my punting mates consistently avoid backing horses ridden by 3 or 4 kilo claiming apprentices stating their race riding inexperience completely outweighs any reduced weight advantage.
This argument does have merit but in my view there are times where the 3/4 kilo claim CAN make a BIG difference. |
