Default NEW RATINGS

I'm tentatively trying out a new ratings method, i'll post a few selections and see how it goes. It will be a mixed bag no doubt. Might throw up some value at times.

Towns.
R5 N3 CAMPBELL'S RUN

Hawk.
R4 N2 BEAU CELEB

Gee.
R6 N9 MALDIVIAN

If Maldivian doesn't win very easily, it will be a big disappointment. Going by his first start, he really should be competitive in future against far superior opposition to this. He'll probably be about $1.20 though.

Have to agree with you there Sportz, looks unbeatable on form. I picked 3 races at random to rate, and it just so happened MALDIVIAN was in one of them. Wasn't a clear cut winner by my ratings, had FLEETING SUN a close second. Like i said, it will throw up some interesting top raters from time to time. I dusted off this formula i worked on from about a year ago. Worked very well but took too long. I am now using it only for the first 4 or 5 in the market or DFS ratings. Tried it twice yesterday for the first time in ages, came up with OSTLER at Belmont winning @ up to 7.00. Also HIFILANTE 2nd @ 2.30.

Yeah he was disappointing, but i guess when you look at his first run Spielmaster did miss the start considerably and run him down so to run him to half a length probably was flattering.fficeffice" />>>

Well, a 2nd, and a 3rd from 3 selections. Odds not great though. Might only post top raters with some value. If i can't jag something decent i'll pull the pin on it and dust it off in another two years!
