Default Top Fluctuation Query

I'm hoping someone can help.

I am in dispute with a bookmaker regarding a substantial bet on The Jackal SR8 yesterday. I believe the top fluc on this horse was $4.20. The payout was at a significantly lower price.

Is there somewhere the officialfluctuations can be verified?

Thanks

$4.20 was 'best price' [TAB's], not [necessarily] Bookie's Top Fluc.

$3.60 was NSW SP price.

If you have taken Top Fluc. price and you dispute the price, contact the bookie's Australian Pricing Network [APN]. You will have to ring them I think if you have a dispute over a price. APN:http://www.raceday.biz/

I very much doubt a Bookie would give you a false TF price. It wouldn't be worth their while.

Betting types:

Starting Price (SP)
This is the official, final fluctuation supplied by the Australian Pricing Network (APN).

Starting Price Insurance (SP Ins)
This is the highest official fluctuation supplied by the Australian Pricing Network (APN) of fluctuations from the time of the bet being placed to the final fluctuation.

Best Fluctuation (Best Fluc)
This is the highest official fluctuation recognised by the Australian Pricing Network (APN) during the entire betting period.

Tote
This is the final closing Tote price as designated by SuperTab (Victorian Tote).

Fixed Price (FP)
This is the price actually manually offered by the individual bookmaker.

-----------------------------------

You can also contact the Race club Bookmakers' Supervisor (appointed by the Racing Industry and under control of the Chief Steward) who can act as an independent arbitrator. In this way the punter's claims are treated confidentially, with respect and sympathy.
Of course, disputed bets are more often than not settled amicably between punter and Bookmaker.

Considering the Bookmaker claims the TF was $4.20, I'm sure in this instance Sportsbet is correct. Why would the bookie lie about it? It's just too simple for a punter to ring the Bookie's Supervisor for the course and find out the TF.

If the bookie was lying he would be in very hot water.

Thank you to All,

The bookie has now paid me correctly at $4.20. This is a clear lesson to always check transactions.
