Default Missed The Start

How many times has the poor suffering betting public heard the excuse:
"it missed the start....and was never a chance!"
I ask the intelligent punter ...how come this always seems to happen to well-fancied runners?
Aren't these jockeys very well-paid professionals who should compensate for the fractious behaviour of their mounts in the barriers?
Therefore, why isn't action taken when this "excuse" is used as justification for the non-performance of well-supported runners?
I look forward to any opinions.
I also encourage punters to nominate the particular race in which they feel these events may have occurred......NB. without naming specific runners/riders.

Cheers.
Cheers.

SR1, the "hot" favourite missed the start by a conservative 8 lengths and was ridden hard for the rest of the race, finishing unplaced!
Placegetters in a small field paid($1661.90Tri NSW)......
Told you so.....Hmmmm.!

Cheers.

BR1 today,
the "hot" odds-on favourite missed the start before "flashing" home but just unable to "haul in" the winner......hmmmm....you figure it out.
How is it that it appears to be a more prevalent occurrence in Brisbane, particularly on well-fancied runners...hmmm!
Moral Of Story: punters be very wary when wagering in Brisbane except during carnival time when there is an influx of top-class visitors which provide many profitable opportunities.

Cheers.

SR5,

A well-backed runner again missed the start...you figure it out.
I'm not talking through my pocket as I backed the winner:
SR5 9 Hollaback WON $3.2w$1.6plNSW

Cheers.

In a certain race in Brisbane today a well-fancied runner missed the start and was ridden hard to make up lost ground...just failing to catch the winner, and running a place.....!
Well, I ask you again...how come this seems to always happen to the "hot-pots?"
I'll leave it up to you to figure it out....!
I will watch with interest how it goes in it's next assignment.....!
Luckily, I anticipated the possibility of such an occurrence and backed the winner and returned a healthy POT, so, I am not talking "through my pocket."

Cheers.

I heard there was a demonstration by the betting public on course objecting to the happenings in a particular race.
I ask the question once more....why do such incidents(ie. in relation to the race in question) always seem to happen in Brisbane/Qld racing.....you figure it out!
Why don't the administrators take appropriate action....or are some people "untouchable?"
When are the poor suffering betting public going to get some satisfaction?
