Brissy Sat.
If anyone had cared to notice, last week the track was more like fast [pen. 4.11] than good. It created hell for punters. The soft of leg brigade had all sorts of trouble.
We have the same problem tomorrow. It will be 'fast' and I don't care what they say [look for the penetrometer rating, not the official rating]. I haven't had a good look yet, but watch out on the Eagle Farm track tomorrow! |

Well it turns out Eagle Farm doesn't use a penetrometer for it's track ratings [Doomben does].
The official rating is 'good' [rail out] but as it's pretty much the same track sub-soil and make up as Doomben. I'd be closely watching the race times of the first couple of races [most of the race times at Doomben last week were 'fast']. If they are within 2 sec. of the track record for the class and distance I'd suspect a 'fast' track, not 'good'. |

Agree Crash might pay to watch the 1st few races to get alteast some guide on how the track is playing..
Race 1, Sir Sensible on top but there there doesnt seem to be alot of speed in this race,,On the Up needs a good tempo aswell especially with the weight,,looks as if Rue The Saint could get a cheap lead and at nice e/ws probably the better bet,,,the southerner Jerusha has performed ok against better horses than this and would pay to keep safe...box these 4 .. Race 2, Richart all the rage,,and does look good,,,still its always dificult these 2yo races when they are all stepping up to the mile for the first time.. To hard for me,,Monashee Princess looks as if the mile will suit,,might have a couple of bucks e/w Race 3, October Sky is all the rage here,,,but Silver Halo is shorter than i hoped for..If i can get better than 5's i think hes the one on this race with improvement...these 2 look the good quiny,,with Stage Shaker and the toppy the next.. Race 4, Princess pedrille is bred very nicely,,Martin doesnt usually bring them here for nothing,,probably eyeing something alittle better later on with this horse...I wont be taking anything short,,,,thought Classic Alabi not hopeless and worth a spec e/w Race 5, Mr Doyle is flying,,,looks to good,,,I thought Doonan ridden by Stathi a big danger and suited here..Nobbys a big show but i'm not a fan of the jock,,these look the top 3 ,,,a good trifecta race.. Race 6, ..hard race..Rebounded looked good last start..Jacaranda leader and Showify all rate about the same...might just play with the exotics.. Race 7, like Enrique,,,just has to get him out and he'll win this,,,Smart and Mighty a danger,,,Sir Winalot , Rags and Atapi the next... RAce 7, Little Emma will again be in the finish here..Shes so consistant ,,,Fine Cheval will be around the mark and Lion Awake will find this easier than last start... Best. Enrique , Mr Doyle Best e/w Classic Alabi, Fine Cheval Sydney Light Red, Blessus melbourne Sentire, Caprizzi Strip Adelaide Solitas, Peacemaker, Gunner Tom Gold Coast wide Open Kembla Grange Monte Leo Good luck |

Hard day at the office ,, A couple of winners though and some nice exotic results,, will live to fight another day,,
Mr Doyle and Enrique very ordinary,,,a few seconds that hurt the bottom line. IsAmaizing in perth is alot better odds than i thought...$4 or better is great value,,might put my fish n Chip money on and see how i go |
