Albion Park Tonight
Good set of fields tonight with the Molly Campbell Silver dollars heats on
Race 1 Tough race with most inexperienced on the track. On paper looks a race between Stone Cold Sober (1) and Whippy's Image (7). Dangers lie with the 3,5 and 6 with the 5 the best suited to the track out of those three. Race 2 The worst heat of six. Dark Marne (1) looks the one to beat having drawn the rails. Gemtastic is well boxed in the eight while Inastare (4) has a few slow beginners inside and out and could threaten. Race 3 Cutting Remark a special Race 4 Another tough race. Cavalli from the eight holds the class over this field. Hay Carter is a hit and miss starter but has run quick at the track. Mush Mush is a greyhound i would love to have in my kennel. has won 3 from 4 with one at the track in a slow time. Can be dangerous early but in my opinion a future top liner. Race 5 Hard to go past the superstar Elite Oriental. Last start broke its littermates gold coast track record by a length. has won at the track in 30.22 and despite drawing a tough field has the eight box which will help it stay out of trouble. After falling at Ipswich saturday night Bad Boy Brody (2) still looks the main danger. despite having huge wraps on him he is yet to run time. best of the rest cheeky prince (1) and Make You Happy (5) Race 6 very tough race with the 2,3,4,5 the ones to watch. looks like splendour (2) will have too much early pace for his rivals and has improved with every run at Albion. Miss Go Getta (4) with room to move early is strong at the finish and the main danger. Race 7 shocking race but Mick Thrupp tipped me his ****** Seminole from the eight. well boxed with slowies inside him. Race 8 Typical Albion Park best eight with all being a winning chance. Highland Hi (2) has been winning of late and seems the drop back from 600 seems to have worked. could be a race classy dresser (5) could pinch at odds. Race 9 Maurie Mcardle tipped me lead breaker (2) early in the week saying he was ready to win at Albion. the danger i believe is the reserve Timely Chance (9). will be odds but with a return to Albion dont be surprised if she leads the whole way Race 10 a ******** race with ******** dogs. selections should revolve around 4 and 6 check out my column on this saturday night's ipswich gold cup in the Greyhound Leader this week. Out in all good NSW and Victorian newsagencies today |
