Default OT - But, But......

In a couple of weeks Queenslanders will get 'Fractional Betting' on
Tri.'s and First 4's - that's a start but -

what's more important is re. who is going to be the first in Aus.
(TAB's or Bookies ) to offer cross Race\State betting as in
the UK - Why is it so difficult to offer punters the opportunity
to take a Double, Treble, or Yankee, via a horse in the 2nd. race in BR, then
the 5th race in SR, and the 8th race in PR, for a treble.

I can only imagine that either they do too well now to offer such an opportunity,or, Maybe their excuse would be that the betting
population is not big enough here in Aus. - I can't fathom which it is
because we didn't have such a large population in Pommieland 60 years ago
but the range of bets offered to Punters via cross bets and accumulators
was superb.

Note the pom. punter who won $2.14 million A$ yesterday on a 8 horse
Accumulator - the bet cost him a A$ plus a few cents.

Racer, you are 100% correct nearly all betting in the UK is slip betting in betting shops ,similar to TAB but they offer SP, fixed and tote. They will accept bet's in any combination , doubles, trebles, 4,somes, 5 somes, 6 somes, 7somes, and 8 somes with unit stakes as low as 1p (about 23.5 cents)
