Default Star Picks

Something I've been fiddling with, with regard to times...

Weekend Hustler
Peacemaker
Zarita

All pretty obvious and probably short, but if they win...

I agree with the first two, but would substitute Let Loushe for Zarita

This is just a test and you could be right.
It's about blacktype winners last start finishing off in sizzling time.

I have the best of these in order:

Lonhro
Choisir
Testa Rossa
Takeover Target

The worst
Fiumicino
Coco Cobanna
Blue Murder
God's Own
Testifiable

Certainly some meat and potatoes for backing and laying in that class

Thanks Stix,

The quickest by G1 class in my database was Lonhro 5/4/2003

Lonhro went on to win the Queen Elizabeth (G1), Warwick Stakes (G2), Chelmsford Stakes (G2), George Main (G1), Caulfield Stakes (G1), that year.

The slowest by G1 class was Coco Cobanna on 29/4/2000
Coco Cobanna went on to win a Quality race and a Metropolitan (G1) that year.
In the Metropolitan she beat, Pasta Express, who was really a G2 horse.
She failed in four other attempts at G1 racing that year subsequently and ran unplaced in G2 and G3 company also that year.

Guess I'm getting at not picking winners, but picking class and no class horses to back and to lay.

Weekend Hussler should by all rights have got rolled today, so should Zarita really, it was that tiny extra bit they had in the tank that got them over the line. A weeny bit less, and they both get beaten.
