Default Rebal Punters Tips

Here it is everyone, I will post my daily tips in here for anyone to follow or even bet on as well. They are real bets using real money... Some bets will be for Wins and Place and others will be to lay as i bet through betfair as well as other sites.

15-09-08
Moe
Race 1: No1 High Season (win $30 place $70)
Race 3: No1 Don Caudillo (LAY to lose a maximum of $150)
Race 4: No3 Oddin Warrior (win $250) Best bet of the day

Thats all for today. Hope we can get off to a good start.

Well in the end it wasnt a profit today but oh how close it was to being an absolute ripper of a day.
In the first race the Favourite got up to beat High Season, but beacause we were betting $30w $70p we came out with a great profit as it paid $2.80 a place.
In the third race the fav once again got up with my selection Don Caudillo running third and because this was a lay we came out with a $65 profit.
Then came the 4th race and our last for the day. My best bet of the day Oddin Warrior finished at the huge odds and what i considered big overs of $4.00 on the NSW tab. Well what can be said. it was knocked off by a 30-1 shot and it left me thinking what could have been.
In summary results are as follows.

DAY 1

Race1: Outley $100 Return $196 Profit $96
Race3: Outley $150 Return $165 Profit $65
Race4: Outley $250 Return $0 Loss $250

Overall Results: Loss of $89

Just out of interest, do you always use a hefty bet progression?

Simple answer is no. Any day where I feel I have an absolute special I will bet large on it. When laying i will always lay to win $50min but never like to outley more then $200, so im usually on laying horses that are 4-1 or less.
Today was very weird with Oddin Warrior paying $4 win. I had it rated at $2.3. in hindsight i probably should have bet on the place at $1.9 but with how confident I was i stuck to my original bet.

Hello Rebal, I'm just wondering if you could please clear up the figures for race 3. If the outlay is $150 and return $165 the profit is $15. Maybe you meant to write that your outlay for race 3 was $100? Marcus.
