There is a punter on a U.K. forum who convinced a bookie to take a 15 horse all-up bet of 100 pounds.

His name is "camsteracing"

He is up to 14 in a row and goes for his final bet on Saturday (UK time).

What is so amazing about this, is he was contacted by the bookie at winner number 13 and he offered to pay camster out then!

Camster's current balance:

Ten Thousand and 62 pounds and seventy-one new pence.

If this bet wins he has calculated a payout of around 80,000 pounds or more for 100 pound investment.

Fantastic and thrilling stuff!

Even if this bet fails to salute  I think this is one of the best efforts I have ever seen in 20 years.

I hope the punter hedges some of his yet to come profit on the other runners, and BEST OF BRITISH to him (or her).

Yep, even if he hedges to get his 100 pounds back he can have another shot at it with a record like that!

We need a new smiley for "Balls of Steel"!

I think I would have bailed out when contacted by the bookie - 15 in a row is just pushing your luck too far! But good luck to him - if he pulls it off I think he qualifies as a "legend of the betting ring"!

I bet the bookie will be s###ing himself if the selected horse gets anywhere near the front during that race!

becareful, with this guys record (unless it is pure luck and fluke - which I doubt given his previous record) I would take a number of all-ups.

E.G.
25 pounds 3 in a row
25 pounds 5 in a row
25 pounds 10 in a row
25 pounds 15 in a row

That way at even money (assuming) if the first three salute, he has the rest of his bets for free and doubles his stake anyway.

Any other combination winning means a huge profit, including the final jackpot $$$.

00 Balls of steel smiley!

Unfortunately camsteracing's final bet Live Theatre failed to win.

It was still an excellent effort and he still has my admiration.

Interesting to see EI that a horse called Live Theatre is racing at Geelong today in the Derby Trial , could be an omen bet , or then again maybe not it did lose in UK didn't it.

Well 10 points TESTAROSSA it won paying $5.80!!!!!

I don't have the heart to post it on the U.K. forum it might destroy any shred of confidence this guy still has.

Should have taken notice of your omen.

Hate to spoil the party Testa & EI, but Richard's (Camsteracing) 15th (and losing bet) was LAST THEATRE.

Camsteracing has had a few goes at 15 straight, this was his closest (and oh so close!) & he has just started again!

But just in case there is something in your omen theory EI, I believe these were preceding 14 winning selections:

1. Dream With Me
2. Greenslades
3. Ashgar
4. Florries Son
5. Palo venturo
6. Wild Knight
7. Comex Flyer
8. Diletia
9. Bongo Fury
10. Iorana
11. Mr Woodlands
12. Iris Gift
13. Beyond The Pale
14. Mr. Wellard
