Default Previouse Winner Staking Plan

Here is an approach that may appeal to some.

Its an alternative to increasing stakes after a loss.

The idea is to make our initial bet .5% of bank = 1 unit
e.g. 200/1 ratio.

We stay at 1 unit O/L while we have not struck a winner.

Increase bet by 1 unit after each winning bet.

We keep doing this until 1-4 units profit is made.

Then start at the beginning again.

One can see that this can susstain long runs of outs of 50+ making this approach a lot safer than the alternative.

Try it out on your favorite selection process.

This idea seems very interesting Bhagwan.

Have you applied it to any systems to test and does it improve POT?

Could you maybe put a stop at say a 3 or 4 unit max bet?

This way you wouldn't crash if you hit the inevitable 20 run losing streak in the wrong part of the sequence.

Seems like it would work with a high striking win system, as long as a brake of some description was put in place.

If you have a moment Bhagwan, can you crunch some more numbers and set a different starting percentage with a brake in place? You seem to have a better fix on the mathematical side of things than I.

I was thinking possibly a 1, 1.5, 2.25, 3.4 progression scenario, with a max of 7 bets at the 3.4 unit mark and going back to square one regardless of a profit, should a bad sequence occur.

Penny for your thoughts.

I guess on could have a bet max of 4 times ones initial amount.
e.g.
$200 bank. Initial bet .5%
Max $4.00
1w 2w 3w 4w 4w ect.

Start again as soon as we get in front or break even.

I feel your idea could work just as well.

The plan does work well on any reasonable set of results where a 25%SR+ is had.

It can also be used for betting 2 horses a race.
Just split the bet half & half.

Nice one Bhagwan.

I'll give it a test.
