With a rain affected track I suspect he will run nowhere in the Caulfield Cup. That means all those early bets were useless. I hope I am wrong and his early backers do get a decent run for their money. However in my view, if you must back a horse days or weeks before a race at least back one which you are confident handles all track conditions.

Unfortunately I was right which was bad luck for everyone who put their money on days before the race.
Please, only back horses versatile enough to handle all track conditions if you must bet before raceday. |
