My next door neighbour has a couple of very old photos that we suspect are from the early 1900s or late 1800s. On the carboard type backing that the photos are mounted on have small snippets about a horse race about two horses called matrice and captain hua. If we can find out when these horses were racing we could put a time frame to the age of the photos. I have looked around the net with no luck..
