Monton no trouble with the extra distance
Nice to see Ron Quinton saddle-up another black-type winner
Bad luck hoop Chris O’Brien who had to pull out through illness
Well done replacement Sam Clipperton with 1st stakes winner
Monton now Villiers Stakes-bound

Another winner yesterday for Sam, still a long way to go tho. Ron Quinton has a big opinion of Sam, he & wife Margaret have taken Sam in, he lives with them, so no doubt getting plenty of good advice.
