RESULTS: AUSTRALIAN HORSERACING (Sydney & Melbourne)

Saturday 19 April 2003, for the Friedman Family Outsiders

What a disaster - we won't be doing that again!

Normally each Saturday we only analyse the legs of the NSW doubles races (4 in Sydney & 4 in Melbourne), but as we were all going out to Randwick on the richest day on the Australian racing calendar, we decided to analyse the whole card in both Sydney & Melbourne.

However, due to time constrainsts, we still selected outsiders that we felt could beat the favoured horses for the doubles races, as normal; but for the other races we based our selections on actual form regardless of the odds, therefore we had several favourites selected, which unfortunately "went down the gurgler". It does appear that our outsiders system is still the better one, especially when looking at "value for money".
