Seem to be a few 'Transitional Handicaps' showing up recently. Can someone define 'transitional' for me? Thanks!

Merriguy ,

A Transitional Handicap is a combination of Class 5 , Class 6 and Open Handicaps for NSW racing.

As a weight rating i have it just above a Class 6.

Hope that answers your question.

Thanks, Testarossa, I was beginning to despair that anyone knew the answer to the question! Appreciate your response.
