What does it mean = Minus $500?

Think it means 5 horses in said race qualify pricewise and no winner amongst them therefore -500.
Stand to be corrected though.

I outlay $100 on each horse thats at the required price or better.
The last 3 days have not been good to me but often occurs .
Usually followed by a big priced winner that puts me again in front.

This is the usual pattern with professional selections.

No big deal as I just ride the run out.

One must be overcapitalized if your entering this game of chance.
