Vic TAB Website - Help!
Hi Guys,
I hope someone can help me. Since the new VIC TAB website came on line I have had to scroll across and down to see all the information - a pane in the lower rear end! This does not happen with any other website I open. Today I adjusted the screen resolution to 1280 x 1024 pixels rather than the 1024 x 768 pixels I had been using and now the website doesn't even open - all other websites are fine. Anyone with a solution? |

the ************ thing is a complete joke, if enough people don't use it they will have to take notice & hopefully revert to the old site, which had no issues that I was ever aware of, a forlorn hope, I know

I agree with your comments guys!
Once I rebooted the computer the site works and now I only have to scroll down and not across as well. The pain is everything is smaller on the screen and for us "older" guys that's not a blessing! |

Why not continue using the old website until it finally gets murdered?

The main gripe I have with the new site is that integration with Excel now appears a thing of the past unless I can find the time (& brain power ) to learn a programming language & the necessary software in order to be able to access the new Rapid Bet Web Services, which having spent a little time of late trying to get my head around it all has left me grinding my teeth a bit...
grr, bad TAB, bad!

The web developers are not punters, they develop by eye-candy, salary and what looks good rather than what is practical to the punter.
So they have no clue on what it's like to look at prices etc minutes before the race. They never experience that adrenalin rush, so if they don't experience it, they will never have a clue. Perhaps make ya own page using excel on how you want a TAB page to look like using your colors, odds columns, betting buttons etc etc etc, and pass it on to the web developers Or post here some "artish" ideas....surely something better than what it's become may evolve. Agree on the older pages, simple and easy to do stuff... |
