(2) ANOTHER WARRIOR - in fine form and will appreciate the weight drop. Hard to hold out.

(3) JETSKIWI - nice win over 1600m last start at Eagle Farm, running on strongly. Should be even fitter and extra distance should suit.

(1) VICTORY SMILE - should have a good sit and a repeat of his Metrop run would see him in the finish.

(4) MON MEKKI - great return to the winner's list last start. Well weighted, well drawn and will appreciate the step up in distance.

Jon Collins, trainer of Sir Kindle, stated in the Sunday Mail 15/6 after his win the day before, that he was aiming this horse at the Caulfield Cup.I am well aware how trainers and connections can get crried away after a win at times, but if that statement is to have any semblance of reality to it,surely this horse would have to win this race,or at least perform credibly.I am somewhat bemused that noone has even mentioned it in their tips?Which is good in a way,I hope the general public drop off it too,I intend to have a good"go"on it.

(11) Stormy Lodge EW, should be great odds.

(4) Mon Mekki and (2) Another Warrior dangers but likely to be short.

(9) Strange Conflict has some chance and should be huge odds.

That race was a joke. Why was there no stewards enquiry into the improved performance of Mowerman?Admittedly the horse has some ability, but in all the races he has won in Sydney he has led unchallenged.Don't any of the Qld jocks do any form study? Why was he left to dictate his own terms in front?Forget the run of Sir Kindle,Seamer had him further back than Bernborough, and he never got a crack at them in the straight.I think he will win next start if suitably placed.
