Info I have from a newsletter says according to the CEO of IAS they hope to have it up and running in the next few months. Licence is before the NT govt at the moment.(Outcome will decide if it is to be run from NT or UK).

Here's hoping it can be Australian based.

Thanks shy,

I'm sure the authorities will put as much red tape as possible in front of the board, and the TAB's will hoot and holler.

It may take some time, but I'd definitely use it once the clientele grew to a decent level.

The Northern Territory govt would certainly be the best to present a case to. Mark Read has the connections and money to establish a first rate betting exchange site. There may well be legal barriers to banks blocking card transactions to it as well.

Mark Read is a bookie who doesn't follow the crowd. Thats why he is constantly pushing new betting concepts and embrassing new internet technologies.

Bring it on IAS.
