![]() Anyone , read this????
We did it...again! When the Kiwi mare HONOR BABE $5.40 won the Sydney Cup on Saturday she landed yet another long-range betting plunge by PPD Club members. We handed out the Sydney Cup tip for Honor Babe back on January 12! She was then available at 25/1. Our clients have cleaned up BIG just as they did when Media Puzzle won the Melbourne Cup after we had tipped him 2 months before the race at 150/1! And just as they did almost 12 months ago when we landed the 1,500/1 Stradbroke-Brisbane Cup double with Show A Heart and Prized Gem. Messages of congratulation began to flow in via email fropm PPD Club members very soon after Honor Babe had struck the cash for us. Here's just two of them: Well done again with Honor Babe. It's a great feeling watching horses win at 25/1 upwards (and we've had that feeling several times over the last year with your longshot selections). Some extra spending money for our trip back to the UK in a couple of weeks. You are a genius! R.K. And this one from D.E: Congratulations and thank you again for another nice result with Honor Babe. I was fortunate enough to secure 40/1 back in Jan. Honor Babe was given out as our headlined Daily Special tip, A-rated, for the Sydney Cup, piling even more level stakes profits to our A-rated selections this year. |

As outlined in another post i have a friend that passes on the daily and long range betting tips from this mob. I once again emphasise i have no allegiance to this syndicate only passing on info i know as a result of my friend's membership. For the Easter carnival they gave out the following tips in January: Shot A Thunder & Hoeberg - Doncaster Danbird - Golden Slipper Honour Babe & Republic Lass - Sydney Cup Having won in the past on their long range betting tips as they rightfully booast above i reinvested and got Honour Babe at 30/1. Having said that i think it is important to separate their daily service which includes the long range betting tips from their mailing of systems which from my friends feedback and those on this forum are crap. He bought the 'Diamond Portfolio' system that promised a lot and has delivered very little. In finishing, their boast above however is true - keeping in mind they don't just provide the one tip for the race - Media Puzzle was one of 4 (Beekeeper, Distictly Secret and Cyclades from memory) but as they say they did provide it a couple of months prior to the race so it allows you to back them all at odds. They never ever give proper statistics for any system even when asked EXCEPT when presenting glossy brochures with "past" results before the system is ever sold. The funny thing is, that many of their systems have a good base to work with, and you can turn them into good one's using your own skills, why they don't do this themselves has me puzzled. Maybe it's just because the sausage factory has to keep churning them out. |

You are being harsh. As i said the daily service which includes the long range betting has proven sensational. You have to realise that this is different to all the other crap they peddle via mail. To be fair you can't mix it all together and the proof is in the pudding. From my own point of view i have made quite a bit from their long range system. There is nothing wrong with putting forward 4 picks 2 months out when you get value that you do. Surely if someone said to you i have whittled the Melb Cup field to 4, two months out with odds ranging from 66/1 to 150/1 and two of those tips finish 1st and 3rd you have to agree that is a great effort. From what i read from everyone else and what my mate has said the other systems that come in the mail are useless but don't knock them when they have had great success with their long range system as it has gone great guns and my own bank balance is proff of it. I agree that they skite about all their systems without proof but in this instance this is not the case. cheers |

![]() Mmmmmmmm, interesting, so it seems that there is some "talent" there anyway??? it's ceratinly very difficult to sort the wheat from the chaff isn't it? As Chrome Prince says, we can all "mention" 5 or 6 horses per race, and come up with an 80% + strike rate, and then claim we tipped the winner "AFTER" the race!!!!!!!!!! and of course THAT was the one we backed.......ahem!

![]() Seems that this mob have burnt people in the past and we can't seem to see past this to the facts of their daily & long range betting claims.
Best i can do is ignoring all their systems that they sell (crap systems) help you focus on the daily and long range betting. At the risk of annoying people who pay for their service i will do it for this week. Depending on the race they provide 1-2 tips per their main races. As to their long range betting they have forwarded 2 Stradbroke tips already. Prior to making them public I need to ensure my mate is okay with this and has got his bets on. Monday tips Brisbane race 5/ #1 unplaced,#2 second $2.30 Brisbane race 7/ #3 win $5.40, #9 unplaced Long shot Brisbane race 8/ #13 $10.80 place! Nearly wet my pants when it was 2 lengths clear with 150m to go at odds of 68/1 . Tuesday Longshot -Wangarata race 4/ #13 (they also suggest a saver on #1 if odds allow) Main bets - Wangaratta race 7/ #2 Wangaratta race 8/ #1 Let me know if people are interested. I am busy this week but happy to do it if people are interested. cheers |

![]() Collingwood,I think you should tread warily in handing out free tips from a pay for service.I have no vested interest here as I am not a subscriber to any of their services, but some of the ones who are may get their noses out of joint if what they are paying for is being given out for free.Understandable in a way I guess.I don't want to see your good intentioned gesture land you in hot water with this mob.It is possible that you could be in breach of copywright,or some other legal loop.Be careful mate.

![]() I agree with Angel416 - I would suggest you don't post the tips prior to the race as this could get you in hot water if they can track you down. By all means post the selections & results at the end of the day. Also I would not post the long range tip either for the same reason (again post it after the race if you like).

![]() Thanks for the warning Angel416 & Becareful. I definately don't want to get myself involved in any copright issues. Maybe quapi can shed some light?
In the meantime i'll take your advise and post after the race-but my aim was to ensure that we overcome our combined sceptisim towards tips being placed after the fact. As to today's tips - not as good as yesterday with only Wangaratta R7/#2 running a place ($1.20). Summary of the week so far: Outlay $8, Collect $19.70, POT $11.70. cheers |
