If you could pick any racetrack in Australia to watch Saturday races, which track would you choose? I'm just a rookie in this department having been to only Rosehill, Randwick and Kembla Grange. My favourite would definitely have to be Rosehill. The crowd usually is a bit friendlier than Randwick, plus you have the drinking institution across the road that is Rydges.

For those who have been to other racetracks I'd love to hear which ones you recommend.

I'm from Victoria and I haven't been to the races in awhile mate, but I used to go to night races at Moonee Valley and I used to have a ball...the atmosphere is fantastic. I've been to Flemington a bit too, and my opinion is, if your on the grass you can only see the horses cross the post, so that detracts from what is another fantastic venue. I've also been to Caulfield (Unbelievable facilities) but my favourite racing day of all is the Bendigo Cup, been there twice and it is sensational!

Being from Brisbane I would suggest that both our tracks are starting to get a bit tired looking, but never fear there is talk of selling off both of them and building a new one. (Heaven forbid)

I don't go to the track often at all, but would love to go to Toowoomba, simply because I seem to back winners there ver very often...simple system to that track..

Believe it or not, Mornington (Vic) is my favourite.

All the locals are very friendly, with a great "carnival" atmosphere. There's never any pushing and shoving, and you get a great view of the runners and races from anywhere you stand or sit.

Mine without doubt would have to be Warrnambool during their 3 day carnival, i love everything about it. As for city, i often go to the Valley, especially Cox Plate day which in my opinion is the best day there is.
