All these postings have valid points, but no conclusion in sight, yet.

There is one poster who mentions they have made a living on the punt.
My humble conclusion is, actions speak louder than words. Well done !

Some swear by level stakes, others proportional betting, some probably a mixture of both.
Both scources of valid research these past few days I done, I would say is 50/50.
Then, it can come down to a few more denominators or factions of selection and bet types.
Most of the stats. I have read so far, I sort of knew about it, much of what has been written has confirmed many thoughts and hopes!
Melbourne Cup Came and went, and will be back in 12 months, those interested participating in these math-gym-for-the-punt, theories, can probably take what suits a personal comfort zone, try it out, and see what change it makes 12 months from now.
I don't see nay other way to a solution.....
