Mummify is out of the Cup due to an elevated temperature.

I'm glad I have fixed odds and decided to leave Mummify out :smile:

And dosn't Lee Freedman [and the stewards for grilling him over not flogging Mummify to the finish last start] owe Danny Nikolic an apology for his outragous behavior in trying to sack Danny in front of cameras, only to be put back aboard by the ever hungry connections [who have had the horse flogged for $$$ greed in tough race after tough race]. Mummify was packing up health wise [including his feet] and would have not got the distance anyway. Nikolic picked up a problem long before the Vet did.

Cup winner Jeune as a dad when over 200 other kids from him were never distance winners and only Mummify has won a group 1.

Mummify's mother Cleopatra's Girl won 7 races only to 1500m and anywhere you look in the breeding finds no futher than a 2nd in a 2250m race. "Proven in Mummify's breeding as a long distance stayer" screams the racing press [?], One horse [Jeune] in an entire breeding line ? I don't think so !

Might have proved me wrong as Mummify is a great horse, but I doubt it.
