Here's a one bet a day method where we are looking for the best of the outsiders.

1. Handicap races of 1600 mtres of less
2. Fields of 15-11 after scratchings.
3. In fields of 15 we look at the first six down the list, fields of 14 or 13 we look at #1-5 and fields of 12 or 11 we look at #1-4.
4. Identify those runners in that band with form figures of first to fifth in the last three races. Eg. 235, 541, 445, 332 etc.
5. Consider only those starting in the two inside or two outside barriers, except in fields of 15 where you take the three inside and three outside.
6. List the contenders for any given day and select the one with the highest pre-post price.
