well what can we say.
recall that i mentioned dedicated miss a couple weeks ago.
placed over 1800 then won at 48/1 over 1400.
then failed over 1800 back to 1400 yesterday won at $9.30.
with my down 1400 to 1300 great odds.
actually in this race 4 listed horses from silk stocking 1400 down to 1300 finished 1 2 3 4 in this race.
in debonair all listed/group horses up in distance down in distance horse starcraft 1600 down to 1400 won the race at great odds.
gold wells down from 1400 to 1100 won the kensington
once dedicated miss won i pulled stumps and went fishing.
well satisfied with the day.
i heard alf matthews saying yesterday on sky that "despite the fact he was coming down in distance he had a chance" "gold wells"
this convention appears to be a red herring.
Maskerado qualified but I dont claim first uppers as most (all) uppers would be coming down in distance.
