yesterday in my usual blundering way i backed my listed horses and had charged in on the only listed horse in eagle farm race 4 which was take strike.
then alan bailey says that in 18 starts at eagle farm take strike had never managed to win.
after the race alan said that he had specifically gone to the sales to purchase take strike but missed out.
