Hi to all,
I am a bit of a novice compared to most if not all of the regulars here. The time you seem to spend studying and contributing to the forums amazes me. I am restricted most weeks to a few hours on friday night to read form and compare previos runs etc. I was wondering if you can help me out with my work punters club. We have $40 to spend and it is my turn to punt. We have had a dismal year by aiming at win/place tickets each week. Can someone sugest a formula to follow with this budget per week?

with only $40..go a trifecta i'd box 5 horses for a half which costs $30 and for the other $10 go for a treble or double or something...

i know 4 guys who work together and they pick a horse each and box then in trIfecta every saturday..They do really well..

Thanks for that Maverick. I might look for a few tips from the tipping comp and work around them? Seems most there are consistantly picking good priced winners.

you might be better looking at Paddy's threads ..the tips there are more consistant ...there alot of tippers in the tipping comp trying to make up some ground..
so be careful.
follow Shaun and you should be right though

Thanks for the vote of confidence...with that comment you probably doomed me for the rest of the comp...lol....to be honest i think i have been lucky this comp...one or 2 of my good priced winners have had to survive a protest....and as well i am not betting on my own selection that always seems to work....lol
