Default Sports Betting

I have been watching the prices offered by some bookmakers. And I come to the conclusion that one cannot beat the bookmakers no matter how hard you try and what other people say.

What are your thoughts?

Benny

There is one advantage that we have as punters. We can look elsewhere and shop around for the best price, or just not bet at all if the price isn't suitable.

I think no matter what the bookies will always win. Maybe not with all punters but overall they make millions of profit. But I'm sure you all knew this.

why don't we all just become bookies?? it'd be much more profitable.

does anyone want to be a bookmaker and/or have you ever been one?

i have to admit.. i'm tempted by it.

Benny, sorry but that doesn't make sense. I hear all the time that people can't beat the bookies. Who sets the lines? Linesmakers. How do they set them? With handicapping, stats etc. All you have to do is know more than they do, or be able to use the same info more effectively. Bookies are far from perfect.
