![]() So here is another doozy to sweeten your unhappiness: [I tried this system I devised about a year ago for three months for a very nice profit, but was dragged away from racing due to an extended O/S trip and didn't pick up on it again].
Win only and any race meeting on any day. 1. All races from 1100m up to 2240m. except Cups, Stakes and F&M races [System testers, please ignore this system if you can't factor that in]. 2. Last 4 Starts to add up to no more than 9 [0=10 and S=10]. 3. Must have won in the condt. [systen testers, ditto this rule]. 4. P/post odds between $3 and $6.50 [$2.20 and $7 SP just in case you are testing this by quietly converting odds from PP to SP without telling me]. 5. Win strike rate no less than 30% [if you can't factor these stats. please don't test this system]. 6. Max weight 57kg. [ignore claims]. 7. Barrier position 1-7 8. Last start no more than 18 days. 9. If more than 1 qualifier choose the runner with the lowest odds and if still more than 1 runner choose the one with the lowest TAB No. I will list runners tomorrow to see how this goes. Happy punting. Last edited by crash : 18th February 2005 at 05:22 PM. |

![]() Sportz,
Nice to see you around still shaking a leg old son. For very good reason I don't like the Fillies [not the mares] .....too many boys around the course taking their mind of the business of winning !!! By the by, I have one more post up than you, or did have a few min. ago :-) Last edited by crash : 18th February 2005 at 05:46 PM. |

This shows a complete lack of application on your part Crash. How long's a filly in season... say 3 days every 30. Completely quantifiable as a 10% random factor in the form. Then if you were really on the job you would keep a calendar showing when they WERE in season and lay (I use that term cautiously) the fillies that were likely to race badly. KV |

![]() I leave spotting the fillies in heat to you mate. You can lay em if you want, but I'll keep my money in my pocket around those girls thanks :-)

![]() Well this has the makings of a great place bet system, with all runners scoring except the WA runner [it might be worth leaving that state out and in the hands of the WA specialists].
One day doesn't say a lot, but perhaps if the strike rate rule was increased to 33% it might make a difference as far as winners go. Place bets only would have made a respectable earn today. |

![]() Crash,
A few good ideas in that system. Yeah, I think it's the sort of thing that could be good for each way or place punters. I especially like the 'nine' idea. |
