FANTASIA – last 3 runs very good. Distance suits.

BASRA – mixed result NZ campaign. Freshened up. Bit of class.

PLEASURE GROUND – consistent type, winner this track. Only worry is 2nd-up.

PONTE PICCOLO – still green but looks a promising type. Distance at this stage of career may test.

Hmmm, there are 4 fillies in this race which I backed at their last start and they ALL won, Pleasure Ground, Ponte Piccolo, Frescante & Lightly Dusted. I don't know that Lightly Dusted is quite up to this, but I think the other 3 all have a chance. Fantasia will probably be favourite and Basra must also be a chance. I'll have to have a bit more of a think about it.

2. fantasia.... looks the goods
3. Sutton Review ... very consistant ,,,great value on fixed odds..atleast

i like the 2yo race...i wonder how many more of those dam Redoubt choices will be in the slipper....reckon Sprung will be there,,

(1) BASRA looks well placed….winner this distance in good time….if no harm from last start NZ when well beaten over 2400m should go close in this

Pleasantly surprised by (3) SUTTON REVIEW’s odds….3 starts this distance for 1xwin 1xplace…although 8of11 last start (Canberra Guineas) was only beaten 3.4L

(12) FRESCANTE really appreciated the 1600m last start…..trained this track and has top hoop
