Only having a few smallish bets tommorow.

I think the Perth MM looks Scenic Shots race, he was devastating in his victory here on debut and should be better for that run, which is scary. The form through Ice Artist is very good that horse beating Lock The Vault convincingly last start.

Sandown i really like Chakra in the first, this race is a little weird because it supposed to be a Steeplechase but the jumps weren't ready so now there's a field of jumpers going around in a flat race. Chakra has by far the best recent flat form with consecutive placings at the valley over this trip. Awesome Weather was a big winner over the jumps last start and is a previous winner of the Ipswich Cup a G3 race on the flat, but his flat form over the last year or so has been terrible. He is the only danger though the rest are absolute walkers.

Sandown rc 4 no 1. Irish Darling was a certainty beaten by the very promising Delicate Snip last start in an infinately better field then this on diamond day last start. She was all over the shop in the straight but really knuckled down in the last 100 and got very close. She rises a bit in weight but is still very well in after the claim, she is also a winner at the track 2 starts ago, which is a big plus for Sandown form analysis.

Probably not much value there but hopefully the SR will make up for it.

Cheers ED

Yeah not so sure that Irish Darling is a good thing. At Sandown two starts ago it took all of Damien Oliver's ability to hold the horse straight - the horse is green and needs a good horseman. Last start it wasn't a good thing beaten. It seemingly got going late but that was b/c the runs were ending on the horses in front of it, and this horse is a strong one pacer, not a horse who accelerates.

This horse has the potential to step to a new level, at some point, because it has held it's level two starts in a row. I just don't feel that it is ready to find that new level tomorrow, especially back with Moor on top, from that gate.

It'll make a nice 4yo mare when it learns to settle, but always put a senior rider on this one.

Duritz.

Tip for today, heard from a very reliable source that Leon Corstens trained galloper Real Soon Now is expected to win its event (race 6, S'Down) very comfortably, they can't see anything beating it and they have better races picked out for it. Won't be any flash odds. Personally i believe the 2-No More Rules can beat it, but they are expecting Real Soon Now to win.

Also, Cognito(R5,No.6) was a horse i had marked to follow up next start. Tricky race this but with the claim comes in nicely at 51kg, should be nice EW odds.

It doesn't need to find a new level to win today Duritz, it can drop back a level and win this. I agree she is green as grass, but Vasil knows what he's doing, and Moor is a talented kid. The long straight at Sandown should prove beneficial, as it'll give him time to steady her up before sprinting. She'll be short though, wouldn't take odds on however.

Too true Rudolph.

I tried to get a bit tricky beacause i thought hence the jumps weren't ready i could pick a (certainty) in the jumpers flat. Oh well i didn't have much on as i said just a few interest bets today.

Some interesting results today...can't wait to see the video..
Good day to miss i'd say ,, for me anyway...will load up alittle on good old Caulfield Jim in Belmont who has been very good to me...harder race for him but I'm confident..but $3.20 isnt great value at all ...hoping to get better than that,,,,fingers crossed

Nice pick there with Grand Legend William..
