On this site, it lists horses that were "unlucky" last start. Most of these horses have lost their next start. I guess winners keep winning and losers keep haivng "bad luck"

There are too many factors to list here why a horse perceived to be "unlucky" at one start seems to run poorly at the next.

Personally, I'd never back a horse simply because it experienced misfortune in the run last start. You'd go broke very quickly if you did. Not only don't these horses win, they are often well below their true odds and offer poor value.

Each horse in each race must be considered on every aspect of its form. Getting a mention in the steward's report is one of a great many considerations and should not be the deciding factor in whether or not a punter risks their money on a particular animal.
