I like to play Texas Hold'em. As they say on TV: "It's the Cadallac of poker" (whatever that means...???).
Omaha looks interesting but because there are 6 times as many hands to consider than hold'em I havn't yet got my head around it. Same goes for Stud. Remembering folded hands and calculating odds based on what you've seen is very hard to learn online as the action is so fast - but it looks interesting just the same. Not so interested in draw - but havn't really played it much.
Gat, if your talking about one hole card you're talking about the home game called baseball. I've played it but preferred one I've seen on TV (briefly as a side thing - not the main contest) where they play same rules as holdem except you're the only one who doesn't see your hole cards. They called that Blind Mans Bluff. That was fun as a brief diversion in my home game, but still - only as a diversion.
